Novels in the #charactHer book series consist of the largely original and thus untouched manuscripts — meaning that by the end of your reading adventure, you will in fact be able to say: "Yes, I've read Dracula... Well, sort of."

The only thing we've changed in the #charactHer'd texts are the characters' names, their pronouns and commonly gendered terms. Think: 'murderess,' 'landlord,' or 'God'). Sometimes, a proper man-beard also had to be sacrificed.

We enrich all of our #charactHer books with fun, useful, and sometimes downright enraging endnotes, plus a solid foreword, and plenty of information on what we like to call the series' "cover girls" — those lovely ladies gracing the covers of our books.

A vast amount of literary classics scarcely passes the Bechdel Text. We are pleased to inform our readers that — in the #charactHer'd version — adequately plentiful representation of women will no longer be an issue.
